Power restored to nearly 500 Grand Junction homes

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. As of 5:10 p.m. on Wednesday power has been restored to all Grand Valley Power customers.

According to Bill Byers of Grand Valley Power, earlier on Wednesday a semi-truck hooked a TV cable, subsequently pulling down a power pole. The accident caused 470 Grand Valley Power customers to lose power.

The affected area is between 22 Road and 28 Road, north of G Road to J Road.
