DENVER (AP) -- GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney's vice presidential choice is coming to Colorado for a fundraiser and a rally.
Republican Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan is scheduled to hold a fundraiser in a Denver suburb Monday night and he has a public rally scheduled Tuesday at Lakewood High School.
Supporters gathered on Monday to make signs for the rally.
Democratic Colorado congressman Ed Perlmutter and Democratic Party Chairman Rick Palacio plan their own welcome for Ryan on Monday afternoon with a news conference attacking Ryan's economic policies and his record on women's issues.
Ryan is a 42-year-old congressman. He's best-known for proposing to reshape Medicare by setting up a voucher-like system to let future retirees shop for private health coverage or choose the traditional program
