FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) -- Police have ticketed a 20-year-old man who was involved in a fatal crash in Fort Collins.

Department spokesman Drew Jurkofsky says Ryan Kramer was driving an SUV just after 5 p.m. Sept. 28 when he struck 30-year-old Nicholas Wilkin, who was riding a scooter. Wilkin died two days later at a hospital. He was not wearing a helmet.

Kramer was ticketed Friday for failing to yield the right of way when proceeding from a stop sign.
