Sen. King receives ACU conservative award

DENVER, Colo. (KKCO) The award reads, "In recognition of your commitment to America's core principles; In recognition of your steadfast commitment to our nations Constitution; And in recognition of your score of 80% or higher on our Inaugural ACU Ratings of the Colorado Legislature."

"I am honored to receive this recognition from one of the most important conservative organizations in the nation," Sen. King said. "And I am proud to represent the people of Mesa County in Denver by reflecting the values we share, and I am equally proud to have the opportunity to work every day to uphold our nations Constitution and the principles it stands for."

The American Conservative Union is a leading entity in providing conservative positions on issues to Congress, administration officials and state governments.

Current House District 54 Representative Ray Scott also received the award, handed out at the Western Conservative Summit in Denver
