GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) Crews will be out striping streets around the city Monday. Officials ask that motorists pay attention to the signs and arrow boards on the striping vehicles. Also, pass with caution and do not drive on the wet paint.

Construction projects
Week of July 8th:
Ute waterline replacement
- B 1/2 road closed between 28 1/2 road and 29 road
- g road closed from 26 1/2 road to 27 road
- detours marked
- chipseal in neighborhoods on the north side of the city

There are several other areas you will want to keep an eye on.
Ute water will be replacing two waterlines starting this week.
one on b 1/2 road from 28 and a half road to 29 road.
the other on g road from 26 and a half road to 27 road.
detours will be marked for these areas but drivers are encouraged to find other alternative routes.

Also, crews will be working on the city's chipseal program in neighborhoods on the north side of the city.
