UPDATE: Shooting fugitive caught, charged with attempted murder

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo (KKCO)- It happened around 5:45pm Sunday. According to the Grand Junction Police Department, officers arrested 30 year old Kevin Earl Dunham on an arrest warrant related to the incident. Charges included Attempted 1st Degree Murder and 1st Degree Assault.

Dunham is accused of shooting another man in the area of North 12th Street and Bookcliff Avenue in Grand Junction around 2:30am Sunday morning.

The man was taken to Saint Mary's hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The warrant has been sealed and no mug shot will be available due to the ongoing investigation.

No further information will be available Sunday evening.
