GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. Over 30 years ago was the last time Grand Junction saw as much snow as it saw today.

With officially 6.5 inches of snow, the old record of 3.7 inches on December 4th was nearly doubled (and most of the snow fell before noon!).

The old record was set in 1972.
