PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) -- Partisanship and taxes dominated a final debate between Republican Rep. Scott Tipton and Democrat Sal Pace, who are vying for Colorado's largest congressional district.

Pace repeated claims that Tipton is too partisan and contributes to gridlock in Washington. Tipton described Pace as a tax-raiser in the state Legislature who would do the same in Congress.

Both sought to distance themselves from their parties. Tipton said he parts ways with Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and wants to extend a wind energy tax credit. Pace said he disagrees with his party on requiring people to buy health insurance.

The candidates have no additional debates set before next month's election. Tipton has served in a single term in Congress.
