Wildfire burning in Rocky Mountain National Park

ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. (AP) -- Crews are battling a wildfire in Rocky Mountain National Park that is being aided by warm and dry weather.

The 670-acre Fern Lake Fire burning in steep, rugged terrain west of Moraine Park was reported Oct. 9 and is 30 percent contained. No private property or structures are threatened.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
