ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. (AP) -- A 50-year-old Littleton woman is dead after falling 40 to 50 feet from the north side of Deer Mountain in Rocky Mountain National Park.

The woman, whose name has not been released, was hiking with a family member when she fell in steep, rocky terrain just before 6 p.m. Saturday.
