iPhone helps crack Aspen theft case

ASPEN, Colo. (AP) -- A Longmont woman has been arrested after police used an iPhone to help solve a theft case.

Police say Sedira Steinkirchner was arrested Friday after allegedly stealing more than $30,000 worth of items out of purses left in an Aspen yoga studio, including the cell phone.

According to the Aspen Daily News, police traced the cell phone and arrested Steinkirchner after she returned the items without protest. Steinkirchner is facing charges of theft and posted a $5,000 bond over the weekend.
