If you registered to receive Town Hall Meeting tickets for Saturday and didn't get a call Thursday night, you didn't win according to White House officials.
Adam Abrams, the Colorado spokesman for The White House tells 11 News thousands of people entered to win the tickets via phone and Internet. He says they were entered into a lottery and selected Thursday. The notification calls started late Thursday afternoon and were wrapped up before the time the phone and Internet service outage for Bresnan Communications customers started.
Abrams says each ticket winner was spoken to personally and that callers didn't rely on voicemail or email to notify winners.
Since all calls were concluded by the time the outage reportedly started, Abrams says it's not likely that a potential winner was passed over due to the outage.
"If they haven't been called by now, they didn't win," Abrams says. He says an overwhelming percentage of the seats available are given to the public but that "way more" people registered than there was space.
