GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- It has been a long time since Olathe has lost in a regular season game; to be exact, it's been 22 games dating back to 2007. But on Friday night, the Pirates fell 35-27 at the hands of the Florence Huskies.

Olathe trailed 21-7 in the second quarter, and after a successful fake punt on fourth down, it looked as if the Pirates were ready to mount a comeback. But, the Florence defense kicked it up a notch and stopped the Pirates on fourth and goal.

Olathe falls to 1-1 on the season, and they will host Rifle next week on Sept. 17. For highlights, click on the video link above.
