GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Pirates started a new streak of the wrong kind tonight with a 34-6 loss to Rifle.

After winning 22 straight contests, Olathe has now lost two consecutive games in as many weeks. The Pirates could only muster four first downs in the first half, and they had a tough time holding onto the ball. Rifle continued to pound through the Olathe defense with an aggressive ground attack.

Olathe drops to 1-2 on the season, and they will head to Basalt on Sept. 24 for their next game. For highlights of this game, click on the video link above.
