OLATHE, Colo. - The Olathe Pirates overcame last weeks loss to Aspen with a shutout of the Basalt Longhorns 28-0 on Friday night.

The Pirates were ranked fourth in the Rocky Mountain News 2A football poll but fell from those rankings when they dropped their first game of the season to the Aspen Skiers.

Olathe (6-1) made a statement to get back in the rankings this week with the shutout.
