35 schools from five states were represented at this Warrior Classic at Central High School. The championship round took place on Saturday night with the Grand Valley well represented.

Matthew Gurule of Central fell to Montez Cortez's Casey Lynn to finish in second in the 103 lbs division. Central's Jesus Rodriguez will take home a second place medal as well in the 125 division.

Phillip Colby of Fruita Monument High School won his title match 11-3 in the 145 lbs class.

Luke Laurita of Delta fell to Justin Curtice of Uintah, Utah to take second place in the 160 division.

At 171 Devon Brown of Paonia takes first place honors for his win over Roosevelt's Nathan Heuer.

Palisade's Aaron Wagler defeated Ryan Gray from Denver East to take home top honors in 189.

Grand Junction's Robert Tucker remained undefeated on the season after working his way through the 215 championship .

And Josh Hinton of Paonia was the runner up in the Heavyweight class.
