OLATHE, Colo. - The third ranked Olathe Pirates have now won 16 straight games with a 31-14 win over the Meeker Pirates on Friday night.
The Pirates finished the 2008 season with a perfect 14-0 record and a state campionship. Now they have started the 2009 season off with a pair of wins.
The Pirates (2-0) next game will be on Friday, September 18 at Monte Vista. It will be the Pirates first road game of the season.
