GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Indians and Pirates entered the day one loss away from elimination from the state playoffs. After winning both of the morning games, Olathe and Montrose were eliminated in their second games.
Montrose took down Skyline 17-6 in the morning game on Saturday, but they lost in game two against Greeley West 5-4. It ws the first time the Indians had made it to the state playoffs since 1956.
Olathe won in the morning game as well. They beat Legend 13-7. But Faith Christian got the best of them in the second game to end their season. The Eagles won 13-6.
