The Olathe Pirates made a statement in their season opener against the Rangely Panthers with a 56-13 win on Friday night.

The Pirates are out to prove that last year's 8-2 finish was no fluke.

Olathe's next contest is against the Meeker Cowboys on Friday, September 7 in Olathe.
