NEW CASTLE, Colo. (KKCO) -- Coal Ridge jumped out to a 7-0 lead, but Olathe responded to build a 29-9 lead midway through the third quarter. The Pirates rolled to a 36-17 win in a 2A Western Slope League game at Coal Ridge High School on Friday.

Ben Kaylor played a part in each of the first three touchdowns for the Pirates and also had an interception when the game was tied at 7-7.

Olathe improves to 4-3 while Coal Ridge drops to 3-4.
