GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Olathe Pirates took control early and held on to beat No. 3 Aspen 24-14.
The Pirates got rushing touchdowns from Kyle Piatt and Keifer Wollert in the first quarter to take a 12-0 lead. Piatt also had a 45+ yard run leading up to his rushing touchdown.
The Pirates improve to 7-2 overall and 6-0 in the 2A Western. They will finish out their season next Friday against Gunnison. For video highlights, click on link above.
