Olathe knocks off Hotchkiss in boys and girls basketball

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Olathe Pirates knocked off the struggling Hotchkiss Bulldogs at home on Friday night.

The Olathe boys (6-5, 4-1) got back on track after a loss to Ouray on the road with a 71-52 win. Hotchkiss (3-7, 1-4) has now dropped five of their last six.

The girl Pirates (9-2, 5-0) continued to roll with a 54-29 win over the Bulldogs to extend their winning streak to five games. Hotchkiss (2-8, 1-4) continues to struggle as they lose their seventh game in the last eight.
