GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The No. 4 Olathe Pirates downed the No. 13 Bennett Tigers 42-21 on Saturday to open the 2A playoffs.
The Pirates scored two quick touchdowns to start the game, but the Tigers made it close going into the half by cutting the lead to 20-14. Olathe proceeded to outscore the Tigers 22-7 in the second half to quiet any thought of a comeback.
Olathe will play No. 5 Faith Christian next Saturday in the second round of the playoffs. For highlights of this game, click on the video link above.
