GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- Olathe was a plesant surprise in the district playoffs, but the Prates don't plan on stopping there.

The No. 25 seed knocked off No. 8 Kent in the opening game and then pummeled Jefferson Academy 16-4 for the district title.

Now they're headed to Greeley where they'll play the number one seed in Faith Christian. The same Faith Christian team that knocked off the Pirates in the state playoffs last season.

The quarterfinals will be played Saturday, with Olathe and Faith Christian starting at 10 a.m. and Hotchkiss and Holy Family will start at 12:30 p.m. The semi-finals will follow at 3 p.m. The state championship game will be played on Monday because 5 of the 8 quarterfinal teams have graduation on Sunday.
