GRAND JUNCTION - The Palisade Bulldogs season opener did not go as hoped at the Bill Fanning Baseball Classic. Douglas County jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the first inning and never looked back as the Huskies downed the Bulldogs 14-2.
The Bulldogs have only one game left at the Classic. They are scheduled to take on Rampart at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
