GRAND JUNCTION - Ryan Girardi hit a two run home run, and Jesse Kirstatter drove in the winning run as the Palisade Bulldogs rallied in the 6th and 7th innings to defeat the Steamboat Sailors 5-4 in the first game of a double header on Saturday.
Game two proved to be much less challenging for Palisade as they cruised to a 14-0 win.
