PALISADE, Colo. - Athletic Director Mike Krueger announced Monday night that both the Palisade High School girls and boys basketball teams have new coaches.
Palisade has hired former District 51 athletic director Steve Phillips as the new head coach for the boys basketball team. Phillips had 17 years of experience as the head basketball coach at Central High School where he won a state championship in 1990 with a perfect 25-0 record.
Toni Gunther has been hired to take over the grils basketball program. She comes to Palisade from Plateau Valley High School where she was head coach of the girls basketball team.
