GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The No. 10 Palisade Bulldogs 3A playoff run came to an end on Saturday with a 55-37 loss to No. 3 Silver Creek.
PHS (10-3) fell victim to an extraordinary passing game from Austin Apodaca. The Raptor quarterback threw for 412 yards and seven touchdowns.
Lane Orman was the offensive standout for Palisade; he threw for a touchdown and also had a touchdown catch.
Palisade was not expected to get past the first round of the playoffs this year, and they came one win away from a championship game.
