4 Western Slope teams headed to Softball Regionals

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Three teams from the SWL, including Fruita Monument and Grand Junction, will be heading to the postseason this weekend.

The SWL 5A champs, Fruita Monument Wildcats earned the 11th seed in the state, while the Grand Junction Tigers received the 14th seed.

Grand Junction will face (19)Standley Lake and Fruita Monument takes on (22)Legend on Saturday.

The 4A bracket includes two more teams from the Western Slope. The WSL champs, Palisade Bulldogs received the 29th seed and the Montrose Indians received the 16th seed.

Montrose faces (17)Falcon and Palisade goes against (4)Discovery
Canyon on Saturday.
