Bulldogs Split Double-Header in Volleyball

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Bulldogs swept Battle Mountain in their opening match, but couldn't get past Eagle Valley at Palisade High School on Saturday.

Palisade (5-3, 8-6) beat Battle Mountain in three games, 25-15, 25-13, 25-16, respectively. But the Bulldogs lost to first-place Eagle Valley (8-0, 10-2) in three games, 25-21, 25-22, 25-23, respectively.

Morgan Reynolds had 14 kills and 7 digs against the Devils. Mackenzie Clark had 7 digs as well. Jenny Thibodeau had 3 aces, and Danette Wittington led the way with 16 assists.
