GRAND JUNCTION - The Palisade Bulldogs scored two fourth quarter touchdowns, but it wasn't enough to erase a 21 point deficit as the Central Warriors get their first win of the season 21-14 on Friday night.
Joe Trujillo carried the ball 23 times for 86 yards and the final touchdown for the Warriors in their win.
On the ensuing drive, the Bulldogs scored on a 55 yard pass play to cut the lead to 14, but the comeback was started too late.
Next up for Central is Thunderridge on September 8 at 7:00 p.m. The Bulldogs will be on the road at Steamboat Springs on Friday, September 7 at 7:00 p.m.
