GRAND JUNCTION - The Palisade Bulldogs scored touchdowns on offense, defense, and special teams in a 36-8 route over the Moffat County Huskies.
Bulldogs running back Zach Adair rushed for 174 yards and two touchdowns in the win. His first scoring run went for 57 yards and came two plays after Jake Appling intercepted a pass on defense. Palisade held a 16-0 lead at that point.
On the next defensive series Billy Logsdon stepped in front of a Moffat County pass for the pick and returned it over 50 yards for the defensive touchdown to make it 23-0.
In the final minutes of the half, the special teams got involved when Jake Edmiston and Aaron Wagler broke through and blocked a punt at the goal line. Edmiston fell on it in the endzone to give the Bulldogs a 29-0 lead at the half.
Palisade (3-1, 2-0) will next be at Delta taking on the Panthers on Friday, September 21 at 7:00 p.m.
