GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- An 8-5 loss to Windsor on Sunday calls an end to Palisade's season.
The 9th-seeded Bulldogs started off the day with a 5-3 victory over (24) Lewis Palmer. Kameron Pfaff was dominant, as per usual this season, with 10 K's and only 6 hits allowed in 7 innings.
In the District 2 finals, the Bulldogs bats couldn't keep up with (25) Windsor. The Wizards batted in 8 runs on 10 hits while benefiting from 4 errors by the Bulldogs. Windsor now moves into the final round of 8 for the state title at class 4A.
Palisades caps off the season at 18-3.
