GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- 12 touchdowns, 80 points, and just one turnover. It was a clean game and high-scoring battle in a top 10 match-up between the No. 4 Palisade Bulldogs and the No. 7 D'Evelyn Jaguars.
Each team did not score on their first series of the game, but wen onto score in each of their series for the rest of the half. Palisade went into the half leading 24-21.
D'Evelyn struck first in the second half, to take a 28-24 lead, but that was the last advantage they saw. The Bulldogs (2-0) scored consecutive touchdowns to take a 38-28 lead, and cruised from there.
Ronald Kuntz led the Bulldogs with four touchdowns (scored all four in the first half), Luke McLean was next with two touchdowns, and Quinn Zamora added the final one with under two minutes to play.
