GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Luke McLean stole the show at Stocker Stadium as Palisade blasted the Eagle Valley Devils 42-7.
This was a much needed win for No. 8 Palisade (6-1, 3-1), after they fell to Battle Mountain last week. McLean accounted for all six of the Palisade touchdowns (four rushing, two passing).
McLean scored the first two touchdowns on the ground. He then connected to Caden Woods for a 20-yard touchdown and added another rushing touchdown to close out a 28-0 first quarter.
In the second quarter, McLean found J.T. Townsend for another 20-yard touchdown pass, and he capped off the scoring with another rushing touchdown to end a 42-0 first half.
The Bulldogs did not score in the second half and Eagle Valley did not score until the final minutes of the game.
Next up, Palisade will travel to Steamboat Springs on Oct. 21.
