GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Palisade Bulldogs boys basketball team met their match on Saturday afternoon. Causing them to lose their first game in over a month and a half.
The Eagle Valley Devils lived up to their mascots name as they broke a 14-game win streak for the Bulldogs, 60-46. Coach Steve Phillips of Palisade said that it wasn't the boys' best game, and Eagle Valley played to win.
As for the girls match-up, the Bulldogs continued to ride a short win streak, beating the Devils 42-30. That's now the 3rd consecutive victory for Palisade.
