GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- Marco Gutierrez scored the game's first goal in the 29th minute, giving Rifle a 1-0 lead, but Palisade shined from that point forward as the Bulldogs won 3-2 at Walker Field on Thursday.

Spencer Jackson scored an unassisted goal in the 31st minute to tie the game at 1-1. The junior midfielder then tried to give the Bulldogs the lead just moments later, but had his shot knocked away. Waiting for the rebound was freshman midfielder Joe Talbott who gave Palisade the lead right before halftime.
