GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Glenn Fitzgibbons was hoping for 20 items for the first-ever Game Hellmann Memorial Scholarship Silent Auction; instead he got over 70 items.

Fitzgibbons, the event organizer and math teacher at Palisade High School, was thrilled with the enthusiasm put into the event both on the organizational side and the auctioning side. All of the money raised at the event will go toward a scholarship for a senior baseball player and senior basketball player.
