GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO) -- With two weeks left in the regular season, it looks like the 3A WSL title will come down to Rifle or Battle Mountain. On the outside looking in, Palisade can play spoiler as they host the unbeaten Bears at Stocker Stadium on Friday.
Last season, Palisade won the match-up 38-20.
THREE-WAY TIE SCENARIO:
If Palisade beats Rifle, and those two teams, along with Battle Mountain, all have one loss in league play, Battle Mountain would own the tie-breaker because they beat the Bulldogs by more than 13 points, so point differentials will not matter.
The Bulldogs (9th in wildcard points) have Rifle and Delta remaining.
Rifle (6th in wildcard points) has Palisade and Glenwood Springs left on the schedule.
Battle Mountain (3rd in wildcard points) has Steamboat Springs and Eagle Valley.
