Palisade softball makes statement with 1st victory

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Palisade Bulldogs didn't just put a tally under the win column after their contest against Eagle Valley on Tuesday. They made a statement to the rest of the league.

The Bulldogs destroyed the Devils in a 23-3 blowout. Katie Rupe pitched a solid game for the 'Dogs - 3.0 IP with 4 hits - while dominating at the dish as well. Rupe was 5-for-5 at the plate and brought in five runs.

The Bulldogs are now 1-1 on the season, and 1-0 in the WSL.
