Palisade volleyball falls to Battle Mountain

PALISADE, Colo. (KKCO) The Bulldogs volleyball squad, fresh off of a 3-2 win over Delta on Thursday were at home Saturday afternoon hosting the Battle Mountain Huskies.

The first set looked like it was all Palisade, as they led most of the way though until the Huskies took the lead 16-15 and didn't look back.

They took the first set 25-19.

The second set went by quickly as the Huskies got in their grove.

LaRose Currie led her team in kills as Battle Mountain took set two 25-9.

The match was a clean sweep as the third set went in favor of the Huskies as well, winning that by a score of 25-12.

Palisade drops to 3-6 overall while Battle Mountain improves to 3-1.
