PALISADE, Colo. (KKCO) -- Not since 2007 has the Palisade football team won a playoff game. The Bulldogs have been bounced in the opening round in each of the last three seasons, but plan on changing that when they take on No. 7 Evergreen this Saturday.

It will be the 12th straight playoff appearance for PHS, who last won a 3A state championship in 2003. The Bulldogs will travel to Trailblazer Stadium in Aurora to take on the Cougars.

The two teams have never met in the post-season.
