PAONIA, Colo. (KKCO) -- The Eagles landed their first win of the season, beating Dolores 48-7 in a non-conference game at Paonia High School on Friday night.
Adrian Lopez scored on a 48-yard run and Steven Voight rushed for a touchdown to give the Eagles (1-3) a 13-0 lead.
Paonia opens up league play with a home game against Hayden on Friday, Oct. 1.
