GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - The Paonia girls' basketball team kept its quest for the 2A state title alive on Friday night with a dominant 48-17 win over Dayspring Christian in the Region Five semi-finals.
Paonia will play for a spot in the 2A final eight in the Region finals on Saturday afternoon against Rangely. The ball will tip at 1:00 at Brownson Arena on the campus of Mesa State College.
