The Paonia girls basketball team had a great season but it had to come to an end on Saturday. Unfortunately for Paonia it ended with a loss. Paonia lost to Wray 46-35 in the 2A Girls State Championship game.
Johanna Reed and Jami Reed each scored 7 points for Paonia. It is the third straight title for Wray.
