GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Paonia Eagles pitched a shutout on homecoming night against Meeker 34-0.
Paonia (3-3, 1-1) put up their second shutout of the year as the 1959 championship team was in attendance to witness the victory. Adrian Lopez had three rushing touchdowns and quarterback Anthony Roeber got the scoring starting with a rushing touchdown in the first quarter.
The Eagles will travel to Lake County on Oct. 14 for their next game.
