GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- Oh, sweet revenge! It took a full year to wait for, but the Paonia Eagles finally got their shot at revenge in the first round of the 1A playoffs, and they took advantage.
On Saturday, Paonia defeated the Rye Thunderbolts 48-24; the same Rye team that eliminated Paonia last year in the first round of the playoffs. Now the No. 13 Eagles will host the No. 4 Limon Badgers this Saturday at 1 p.m.
