GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- No. 12 Paonia defeated No. 5 Rye 48-24 Saturday afternoon in the first round of the 1A playoffs.
Paonia was just 4-5 during the regular season while Rye had an impressive 8-1 record. The Eagles will have a equally touch task next week as they will take on No. 4 Limon next Saturday.
