GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Paonia Eagles demolished the Center Vikings 73-3 at Brownson Arena, but CMU just fell short of a win in their own home; the Mavericks lost 23-18 to CSU-Pueblo.
CMU (7-9, 2-3) fell behind 17-0 early on, but closed the gap with a couple pins in their final two matches. But Jordan Passehl and Paco Retana's pins were not enough to bring home a win for the Mavericks.
