HS HOOPS: Palisade boys keep winning; girls follow suit

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KKCO)-- The Palisade Bulldogs aren't looking to lose anytime soon. The boys increase to 14 straight victories and the girls are now on a 2-game win streak as well.

On the boys side, the Bulldogs are sitting pretty at the top of the standings after improving to 6-0 in the WSL. Battle Mountain drops to 5-12 on the season and they haven't tallied a win in league play yet. The final in Palisade was 74-40.

As for the girls, they were riding high after a victory over Aspen on Tuesday. The Bulldogs used that mojo to power themselves to a 10-point W over the Huskies of Battle Mountian. The Bulldog girls currently sit in 5th place in the league, behind Delta(1), Glenwood Spring(2), Moffat County(3) and Steamboat Springs(4).
